2 Fun Centers: Magnet Names and Dinosaur Puzzles
At Cadence Academy Preschool, Main Street, they did two different fun center activities that the kids really enjoyed. One of the activities was making their names out of magnet letters and the other was putting together dinosaur puzzles. Both activities required visual and fine motor abilities!
Magnet letter names
The magnet letters were put in a big pile and the kiddos dug through them to match them to a sheet of paper with their name. It was a fantastic activity for developing fine motor skills and helping the little ones learn what letters make-up their names. Knowing how to spell your name is an important skill!
Dinosaur puzzles
The children were given puzzle pieces they needed to assemble to create an image of dinosaurs. They used their shape-recognition skills and fine motor abilities to put the puzzles together and show the scenes with dinosaurs!
