4 Seasons 3D Tree from Usborne book
Hello everyone,
I'm a english teacher for kids from 4 to 10 years old. This craft has been made with 3 little boys I had during private class.
So ,with my little french learners we made a 4 seasons 3D tree. Before this craft, we read the 4 seasons book from Usborne collection and we talk about the different seasons of the year.
They choose themself what animals they wanted to put on their branch according to the right season. We had bird for winter, butterfly for spring, beehive for summer and squirrel for autumn.
I did the templates trees with the different animals on Illustrator, then kids colored it, respecting the seasonal colors. For winter I removed the leave. Afterwards they cut all around the templates and glued the 4 parts of the tree together, to make one tree in 3D. It was a bit hard for them to gather the 4 template and hold its together.
The final goal was to make them right little sentences in english : there is/it is.
