Christmas Tree ornaments

Christmas Tree ornaments with air-drying clay and cookie cuters that we'll paint once dry.

you need:

1. Air-drying clay - preferably white - i only found gray but once painted I don't think it will be an issue.

2. Cookie cutters or Gingerbread cutters. We had stamps and simple cutters

3. Make a clay "pie" of 2-3 cm in height

4. Cut it in shape using the cutters

5. Let dry

6. Paint it with acrylics

The activity can be made with preschool kids as well as 5th graders, since clay it's on the curriculum and the complexity of the design can be adjusted to their age.

Make sure not to add too much water to the clay since it's more difficult to work with.

Enjoy!
