Construction workers
Today we did a hammering golf tees into a box. We talked about being a builder and some tools we use to build stuff. We are currently talking about community helpers. We talked about things they do each day and what they do to help our community. This is a great fine motor skills for them since they are very curious about different careers and are still learning as well.
Introducing Basic Engineering Concepts
Building structures teaches them about weight distribution. Using different shapes helps them understand how to create stable designs. Experimenting with materials shows them what works and what doesn't
