What a fun community helper day we had. We set up our own little town. In our town we had a grocery store, where each child got a turn to shop and checkout, and a turn working at the store as a cashier, and stock clerk! Parent volunteers made it even more successful!
We had a construction site as well. Each child got to participate as a worker. Some were painters, others were builders using various types of construction tools.
We had a veterinarian office. Each child got to work in. Some were secretary’s checking in patients, some were doctors and some were groomers!
We had a movie theater, we watched a short film and ate popcorn.
