Ocean Theme For Toddler Class
We took a picture of a starfish and mixed paint, shaving creme, glue, and sand and painted it on the starfish picture. It made it look like puffy paint with a little grit from the sand, My students thought it was really cool. Also, we took small ocean animals and put them in and ice tray and froze them. Then we put them in the sensory table with seashells and fish nets. They played with them for a while and kept wondering why they couldn't get the animals out of the ice. They figured out it takes a long time for the ice to melt. They loved this activity, too. We took number cards that looked like fish and matched them 1-5. This is what we did during small group.
