Fish tank/fish drawings with preschoolers
I teach in a 3/4's preschool class and we like to do directed drawing with them and at the end of the school year we make them each a book with all their drawing in it. On of the directed drawing we did was a fish bowl.
first I had the kids trace one of their hands, next I had them add an eye, we talked about how it is just one side of the fish so we would only see one of their eyes not both of them. After that I had the kids decorate their fishes. I cut them out for the kids and then had the kids glue them down on their fish bowls where they wanted them. The kids choice what color of paper they wanted their fish bowls on also. Last step is I talked with the kids about what we see in a fish bowl and we looked at the fish tank in our room. After they looked at what is in a fish tank I had them draw their plants for it.
