Activity: Making Our Own Perfume
Step 1: Let's put some basil in the mortar and crush it.
We use the pestle to press and crush the basil leaves.
Step 2: Spray some water on it.
Step 3: Let's smell it and transfer it to the small container.
Use your nose to smell the fresh basil. Then pour the crushed basil into the little plastic cup.
Step 4: You can use the spoon to help.
Use the spoon to scoop and transfer everything carefully.
Step 5: Now take the strainer, place it on top of the little container, and let's pour the liquid in.
We want to strain the little plant pieces from the liquid.
Step 6: Stir, stir, stir.
Mix everything well with the spoon.
We did it with basil, rosemary, flower petals and lavender.
they could smell and choose the the one they liked the best.
