Crafting with the Littles During Afterschool
We decided to let the children decide the direction of their own project, with the only caveat being they had to incorporate the color green somehow. Lots of fun!
We had two students collaborate together to create a depiction of earth and the solar system around it using paper maiche. Another student went in the direction of creating an open field of flowers with over 40 different flowers made and various types of flowers.Students expressed that they had been surprised that they were allowed to create something with a certain level of creative freedom over what they chose to make. We encouraged the students to think appropriately outside of the box to explore their creativity and innovation.
