Creating Boats out of Recycled Materials
At Primrose School of College Station, they learned all about the importance of recycling and also learned about how boats work. To combine these two lessons into one fun activity, students made boats from a variety of recyclable materials! They were encouraged to bring items from home and teachers provided materials as well. The creativity that was on display was so impressive to witness!
Making boats
The kiddos used an assortment of materials in their efforts to create little boats that would float.
Finding new uses for old items
It was great fun finding new uses for things that would otherwise just get thrown away. It illustrated the importance of recycling and allowed the children to be very creative as well!
