Creating Collaborative Art
At Kiddie Korner Preschool, they read a book about collaboration and then did their own form of collaborative art! The class read, "The Crayon Box That Talked," as it involves a group of crayons who all argue and don't get along. However, once a girl buys the crayon box, takes it home, and uses all the crayons to draw a beautiful picture, the crayons realize what kind of beautiful things they can accomplish if they choose to all work together!
Creative collaborative art
To make the collaborative art the students each picked a color of crayon. Then, they got into groups and were given a large sheet full of outlines of different things to color. The kiddos all worked together with their respective colors to make a complete and great-looking final image after they'd all contributed with their crayon. It was a lovely way to learn about working together!
