Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Crafts
At Learning Years Day School – Hawthorn Farms in Hillsboro, Oregon, they talked about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
It was discussed how he has his own holiday and should be celebrated every day thanks to the work he did and the important words he said about equality. It was also pointed out how there were many more lessons he would have shared with us all if he was not taken from the World so soon. After talking about Dr. King the class did a craft to honor him!
Dr. King Portraits
The students made portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. out of pieces of construction paper they cut out as well as glue. They then wrote their names in crayon so that everyone would know which portrait was made by them!
