Mom and Baby Card Matching Game with Farm Animals
This matching game involves using cards to put the baby version of an animal with its mother.
There are 10 sheets total with 20 cards, 10 cards, of course, having their match upon the other 10 cards. These can easily be laminated so that they are easy to reuse multiple times too!
Mothers and Their Babies
Below is the list of the mother animals as well as their babies:
- A cow and its calf.
- A chicken and its chick.
- A dog and its puppy.
- A duck and its duckling.
- A goat and its kid.
- A sheep and its lamb.
- A pig and its piglet.
- A cat and its kitten.
- A goose and its gosling.
- A horse and its foal.
Each card clearly matches with its partner-card thanks to backgrounds that go together too, which allows students to use visual cues as well as their reading skills.
