Fine Motor Activity
Activity:
This is a great hands on fine motor activity for young kids. It is also a good sorting activity that helps teach colours and shapes.
How to Make it:
This activity can be created out of recycled materials and some simple household items.
I used an empty pizza box to draw 4 simple shapes. Then, I traced each shape using a different coloured marker. Next, I poked holes about 1cm apart along the shapes. After that, I cut q-tips into half and dipped them into the 4 different colours of paint, to match the colours of my shapes. Leave the painted q-tips to dry. Once it is dry, the activity is ready.
