At Little Blessings Childcare & Preschool LLC they were learning about geometric shapes and had fun drawing them in chalk! It was educational and exciting. Their overall shape was a geometric heart!
Materials needed for the geometric chalk activity
To do this activity you just need a few things:
Chalk
A large area of concrete/asphalt
Tape--masking tape or painter's tape works best
How to do the geometric shapes chalk activity
To do this activity follow these steps:
Lay the tape down in overlapping patterns that make geometric shapes (squares, triangles, trapezoids, and so forth). You can have all the smaller shapes make a larger shape like a geometric heart like Little Blessings did too if you want.
