Chalk Exploration Activity for Infants
At Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool of Overland Park, they did an exciting and fun activity for their youngest attendees! The infant room got to use their sensory skills to explore a new medium, chalk.
Process-based art
This activity was what is called, "Process-based art." Process-Based Art focuses on what a child learns along the way, not just the end result. It involves having children explore their senses, use hand-eye coordination, exhibit attention and persistence, and more! These snowy night scenes were a lovely piece of process-based art that the infants were excited to explore with their hands and take-in. The littlest ones had so much fun!
