Health class making blur glasses DIY
In this topic of health class, the 3rd graders will learn the knowledge of eyesight, nearsightedness, farsightedness, and tips for eye health. Some kids at this age may have the experience of using eye drops from eye doctors for possible nearsightedness treatment. Some of them might even accept the day of wearing glasses is getting closer without knowing how inconvenient having glasses on the nose will be. So I let them make a pair of blur glasses for a game later to experience the vision of nearsightedness and farsightedness.
Show time!
I found the free frame template online. First I use the finished thermal laminating pouches to cut out some templates for my kids to trace so that they can choose the style they like. Kids can be creative in decorating their own glasses. Later after the game, they're going to share with everyone what they can see with the blur glasses and how they feel with something on the nose all the time.
