Holiday Sock Matching Activity
At Kiddie Academy of Streamwood, they did a fun holiday activity. They matched colorful (fresh and unworn) socks with holiday imagery to make correct pairs! The children used their color and pattern recognition skills to make the matches and chose then talked about their favorite holiday socks of the ones they got to look at and match.
A fun activity and a fun holiday gift
You can do this activity with your students too and as a fun bonus let everyone take home one pair of holiday socks as a special present! All you need to do this activity is an assortment of new socks with imagery themed for the holidays. These can easily be found in department stores during the holiday season and make for a wonderfully fun activity and gift for the students!
