Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees
We first put frosting onto the bottom of a paper plate, then put the ice cream cone onto the frosting and allowed it to become stiff to prevent the tree from falling over. We then had the children use plastic spoons to spread the frosting all round the cone while holding the tip of the cone to prevent it falling over during application. This did require some adult assistance for some of our younger students. We then had pre-dispensed holiday embellishments into small plastic containers. We passed out the containers to the children to decorate their tree with. The kids loved creating and decorating their own edible Christmas trees.
