Learning Good Manners Through Pizza Restaurant Dramatic Play
They learned about table manners and waiting for their turn at Bountiful Preschool by doing some fun pizza restaurant dramatic play! Having good table manners is very important and by doing pizza restaurant dramatic play the kids were able to practice them while also waiting their turn for their, "Food," to be brought to their table at the restaurant!
Good table manners
Some of the table manners the children were taught about were.
*Wash your hands before you sit at the table.
*Use a fork, spoon, and knife to eat, not your hands.
*Place your napkin in your lap.
*Wait until everyone has their food before you start eating.
*Don't put your elbows on the table.
*Avoid chewing with your mouth open.
*When you're ready to leave your table, ask to be excused.
*Push your chair in when you get up from the table.
The kids had a great time pretending to be at a pizza restaurant and practicing their good manners!
