Making a, "Feely," Collage
At Community Preschool, they have been learning all about the five senses. As part of this unit, the sense of touch was discussed. The students make a, "Feely collage," with different elements they could touch and feel to observe how our sense perceives things differently!
Putting a feely collage together
The kids had a lot of fun assembling their feely collage. They used a variety of textures they glued onto their paper. There was a feather, which was soft and tickled. Sandpaper, which was rough and coarse. Wax paper, which was slick and smooth, and a piece of sponge which was squishy! The kids really enjoyed touching all these unique textures as they assembled their feely collages and learned a lot about how our sense of touch makes all these items feel differently!
