Making pancakes
Our class had a week of exploring careers. One day we were researching what a cook does. The children wanted to make pancakes. The children prepared the dough. They really enjoyed mixing the ingredients.
All students in the class participated in this. They had fun discussing all the processes and helping each other.
When the dough was ready, the children began to fry the pancakes. With my support, they carefully and diligently fried each pancake. When all the pancakes were fried, the students and I ate them all with fruit jams and tea.
