Measuring Pieces of Tape With Rulers Activity
At Creative World School, they have been discussing how when builders create something they need to carefully measure the distance of everything to make sure their creations are done properly. To practice their measuring skills, the kiddos were given a piece of paper with differing lengths of painter's tape they then measured with rulers. It was a cool way to practice measuring!
Materials needed for this activity
To do this measuring activity you will need the following:
*A piece of construction paper
*Painter's tape
*A ruler/measuring stick
How to do this activity
To do this measuring activity follow these steps:
1. Take the painter's tape and rip off pieces of varying lengths.
2. Put the pieces of painter's tape in a line on the construction paper.
3. Take your ruler/measuring stick and measure how long each piece of painter's tape is!
