Monster Teeth Counting

Monster Teeth Counting

I used these counting sheets for candy corn week, or you can use them for creepy creatures/ halloween week. I don't have a color printer so I made these in slides to print on colored paper. I used the numbers 1-5 for my 3s class and 5-10 for my 4s class. Students were given a handful of candy corn to use as the monsters teeth. They would identify the number on the counting mat then 1 to 1 count out and place the candy corn in the monsters mouth to give it "teeth." My students enjoyed this and at the end got to eat their candy corn. I also included a blank sheet as well. This would could be used laminated and with dry erase markers. Students could roll a dice, write the number, and count out the candy corn.
