Painting With Broccoli
At Joyful Noise Christian Preschool, they did a clever painting activity where they used broccoli! Broccoli isn't just a healthy vegetable, it can be perfect for creating the effect of leaves on a tree when used as a paintbrush. That's exactly what the little ones used it to do!
Materials needed for this craft
To do this painting craft you will need the following:
*Stalks of broccoli
*Piece of paper with print-out of a bare tree
*Paint--acrylic or tempera works well
How to do this craft
To do this painting craft, follow these steps:
1. Put down your paper with the print-out of the tree.
2. Dip a stalk of broccoli in some paint.
3. Carefully dab your broccoli on the tree print-out and see how it looks like leaves.
4. Continue to dab stalks of broccoli and make a beautiful and colorful tree!
5. Wait for the paint to dry and show everyone your tree!
