Paper owl Art Project for Pre-K

My classroom has 2.5-6year olds and they love owls. We created snowy owls with white and brown paper scraps, cut out feet and beaks and used cupcake papers, glue, markers and googly eyes. The kids loved gluing and creating their unique owls for our display. This is a great way to reuse scrap paper that’s been sitting around. We make lots of multi-media work and they really enjoyed having a 3D element in their work. I set out the work on a tray with a completed example I created, black paper for the background, a small bowl of scrap paper, another small bowl with the feet, beak, cupcake holders, and googly eyes and had a glue stick, yellow marker, and black marker ready to use.
