These math activities are designed with preschool and kindergarten students in mind!
Students are given big circles with numbers that can be placed over the math equations which are held-up by each penguin. The answers range from the numbers 1 through 10 and are put over the equation.
For example, if in one hand the penguin has a sign that says, "3+2," students put the, "5," over it. On the other hand, the penguin has a sign that says, "4-1," and students would put a, "3," over it.
It should be noted that the penguin always has addition questions on the student's left-hand side and subtraction questions on what would be the student's right-hand side.
Penguin Printables
Below are the printables with the penguins and the big number-circles. Everything can be laminated as well to last even longer for plenty of fun doing addition and subtraction!
