Preschool Dinosaur Theme
This week we will be learning about dinosaurs. On Friday, my class is planning on having an outside class day. We will be doing ice activities-freeze a dinosaur inside of a Dixie cup, and then have the children use a dropper and hot water to melt the ice. We are also planning on having a sand activity where dinos are hidden in the sand and the kids use a strainer to sift the dinos out and some paint brushes to dust off the plastic dino off. We will be having a dino picnic. The parents will be sending in dino bones-pretzels, dino shaped chicken nuggets,dino eggs-green grapes cut in half,herbivore food-veggie tray and dip, stegosaurus spikes-Triangle cut watermelon, and for dessert- dino print cookies and dino eggs-easy rice krispie treats shaped in an Easter egg. Also we will be painting dinosaur revile pages and the baking soda dino eggs. It should be a fun day for the kiddos!
