Race Under the Rainbow!
Parachute Run – The children gather in a big circle, each holding the edge of a colorful parachute (or blanket). We begin by gently shaking it up and down, watching it ripple like waves in the ocean! Then, we practice lifting it high above our heads to make a giant “mushroom” dome. Once everyone’s ready, the real fun begins — the teacher calls out two children’s names, and they must quickly run under the parachute and swap places before it floats back down and touches them!
This exciting game helps children practice listening carefully, following instructions, and taking turns. It also encourages teamwork, coordination, and quick thinking — all while keeping everyone active and full of giggles!
