Rainbow activity
This activity was created by the children in first grade during a science class. The idea is to creat the colors of the rainbow using M&Ms and water.
By slowly adding water to the plate with M&M's and wait for a minute or so for the colors to creat a shadow of the rainbow and then drawing the shapes and colors they got. Then repeat the experiment with defernt order of the M&Ms for different group of students, draw all the patterns and compare it with the other groups. You can try to add different kinds of liquid and notice the difference between patters and how each type of liquid will affect the color combination and the shapes
