Sence of Hear, Touch, Smell, Taste
Hear
Children identify where the lemon is - 3 non transparent empty glass compote bottles. Measure the same amount of water into each but put a lemon in one. Mix the bottles. Children tap the lid to identify where the lemon is. - There will be a deeper sound. They will put their mark next to their guess. Finally, we reveal the correct jar with the lemon.
Smell
Children identify what fruit they smell - eyes closed - let them smell 4 types of fruit. They will probably only guess lemon. "How did you find out it was a lemon?" "I smelled it,. " "What did you smell it with?" "With my nose." "Exactly. So we smell where?" "In the nose."
Taste
We select another child, he closes his eyes and tastes a different kind of fruit.
Sense of Touch
The child is facing the direction with the children. Behind his back we hand him a whole fruit and the child guesses what fruit we have handed him.
Children guess what the balloons are filled with (metal balls, plastic balls, mungo beans, flour, sand, water, air). Next they are given translucent bags on the table with the same materials. They match the balloons to the bags with the same materials.
