Shapes match up
The student places the shapes in the correct spot and repeats the name of the shape in English and Spanish. I used cursive as it is supported by research that learning cursive before learning regular print letters is highly beneficial for a smoother and more successful literacy journey.
In addition the student also worked on the oval and circle beside each other to take special notice of the difference between the two shapes. He then proceded to paint the two shapes using various colors of dot-paint. It was a messy activity but that makes it that much funner!
I hope that you can find some benefit from my activities, I did use other posts as inspiration. My homeschooled 2.5 year old really enjoyed them.
