Sleepy Sheepy - Sheep Shearing Activity
Children covered their sheep in shaving cream then used a large popsicle stick to "shear" their sheep. I drew each sheep on a large piece of paper, cut it out, then used sheet protectors or a laminator to cover. The kids scooped their shaving cream into a disposable cup. I also had a make your own sheep snack using graham crackers, marshmallows, icing, Hershey kisses and candy eyes. I read some sleepy sheepy stories as well. The shearing was definitely the biggest hit and the parents were excited to try something similar at home. Would definitely do this again.
