Smiling Face Paper Plate Craft
At Go-Go Preschool all the kids had a fantastic time taking a paper plate and making it into a big smiling face! They loved painting it, gluing on yarn for the hair, and making big eyes to go with the smile.
Materials needed for this craft
To do this smiling face paper plate craft you will need:
*Paint--tempera or acrylic works well
*Paper plate
*White construction paper
*Black marker
*Yarn
*Scissors
*Glue
How to make Smiling Face Craft
Follow these steps to make your smiling face:
1. Take your paper plate and cover it with your paint.
2. While you wait for the paint to dry, cut two big circle out of your white construction paper--these will be your eyes
3. Cut a semi-circle out of your white construction paper--this will be a smile.
4. Put two big black dots in your white circles to make eyes.
5. Draw teeth in your white semi-circle to make a smile.
6. Make sure the paint is dry and glue on your eyes and smile.
7. Take your yarn and glue it on the plate to make the hair.
8. Wait for the glue to dry and display your smiling face paper plate craft with pride!
