STEAM-Themed Activities for Centers
At West Suburban Montessori School, they did a variety of centers that helped the children with the development of their STEAM skills. Whether learning about fractions with puzzle pieces (as can be seen above) or doing other activities, the children had a lovely time!
Drawing a still-life
The kiddos looked through a book full of cake and used the images of the cake to draw their own still-life images of the tasty treats.
Wallet decorating
Some of the students used a sowing kit to decorate wallets and make them look extra beautiful.
Dinosaur paper crafts
Some of the kiddos cut dinosaur shapes out of paper and then colored them in all kinds of fun ways. The children discussed the various kinds of dinosaurs that existed.
