Hello,
I'm teaching in Romania. I'm working with 5 to 6 years old kids. We had such a great time with pretend play in stone age. The kids made a fire using real wood and black stones. We used orange and red paper for the fire. We also made jewelry. A day before they made little bones using dought, let them dry over night and then they put the bones on a rope making a necklace. The kids had fun with singing and dancing wearing stone age clothes. We sang with stones and wood sticks diferent dance rhythms. Cooking meat and dry fish at the fire and imagine how it was that time, was really fun for the kids. They also made diferent drawings on the "walls"/paper.
