A family can be made up of many different people. Some families include parents, siblings, grandparents, and sometimes even uncles, aunts, and cousins. Every family is unique. Some families live together in one home, while others might live in different places. But the most important thing is that family members love and care for one another.
In Nursery 1, children start to understand the different roles within a family. They learn that parents are there to guide and protect them. Mothers often take care of their children, help with daily routines, and provide comfort when they feel sad or tired. Fathers, too, play an important role in supporting their children. They often work to provide for the family and enjoy spending time together in fun activities. At this age, it’s also important for children to understand that families come in all different shapes and sizes.
