One thing often associated with Thanksgiving is Turkey! With that in mind, this fun Turkey-themed name craft is a great way for students to both be creative and practice spelling-out their names.
We have provided a free Turkey template which has no feathers upon it and nine individually-colored feathers upon another sheet.
Students can pick out their favorite color of feathers and then write the individual letters of their name upon each feather, cut the feathers out, and then paste them onto the Turkey (or paste all the feathers and then write their name, whatever they like!
This way they have assembled a gorgeous and colorful Turkey with lots of feathers. Should a student have more than nine letters in their name or want to use a particular color multiple times you can always make copies of the feather-sheet as needed.
