Winter Sensory Activities
I would like to share a few of the activities that our students did for one of our sensory days. Every month we do a coordinating theme and for the month of January of course it was winter.
Here we had a cookie sheet and some shaving cream. We had printed out letters from the alphabet and the kids would practice writing each letter with their finger.
We had made some mittens from felt. We had different colors and had the kids match the pom poms to each mitten. They used tongs to pick up the pom poms to help with their motor skills.
We made a big snowflake with painters tape and had pom poms for them outline the snowflake as they liked.
