Bird's Nest and Bird with colored feathers
Bird's Nest
For the nest we need:
- Branches (preferably flexible)
-Colored eggs (I had polystyrene)
-Brown crepe paper
First we will cut the stem of the tree with a branch where we will stick the curved twigs, then we will fill it with strips of brown crepe paper by sticking the colored eggs in the nest:
For the bird we will need:
-yellow A4 paper (for head and body)
-a little orange paper (for beak and legs)
-colored feathers
We will cut the body of the bird, glue the beak and put the feathers on the tail and wings)
I used the hot silicone gun to glue the nest because the normal glue would not have kept the twigs in an arched position. The eggs may or may not stick. You can also play a role play in this activity, the bird not being glued. Children can play with it by taking one from the nest
