Spring - butterflies

The Spring is here! Today, we made symmetrical butterflies. First, the children spread the paint on one side with paint on a spoon. Then, they closed the butterflies and gently tap the art papers. When they opened them, they could see the symmetrical paint. Children were very excited to see the beautiful artwork. The symmetrical method is very interesting and increases children's ability to observe changes visually.

After that, children brought the small magnet butterflies to the white board.

We observed and put the same pattern of butterflies together and we count the numbers of them. This activity helps to develop fine motor skill, look for same & different and math concept.
