Learning About the Letters R and S With a Space Theme
At Woolsey Academy, they learned about and practiced writing the letters R and S via fun space-themed activities!
R is for rocket and S is for space
The children practiced writing words that started with the letter R and the letter S. Many of the words featured an outer-space theme!
S can also be for star!
The kiddos loved playing with plastic stars for a fun craft.
Practicing reading books about space
To further develop their familiarity with letters, the students worked at reading books all about rockets, space, and the stars too!
Space-themed dramatic play
The students dressed-up like astronauts and pretended they were in space as well. It was a fantastic day to learn about R and S with space!
