Doing a Space Camp Theme For Your Classroom
At Aspire Nursery School they did a space camp-themed week and it was some out-of-this-World fun! You can get some ideas for your own classroom from what they did as well. Use what Aspire did as inspiration for you own space activities!
There was an outer-space sensory bin.
There were also some space-themed toys everyone could play with during centers.
Everyone had fun playing in the space shuttle and pretending to be flying among the stars.
Some kids jumped on a trampoline to simulate floating in space.
The kids could also check-out a space jetpack and imagine using it to go up and around the planets!
