Plum tree and grape vine for autumn
I made these models for kindergarten kids. We had an activity about autumn/fall. I made the outline of the tree and the vine and then made the bark texture using brown parchment paper glued with silicone. With their help, we focused the activity on the study of the plum and the grape, the models helping the external study of the fruit and its characteristics. Thus, the children observed the different ways in which they grow, the similarities and differences.
Then, I offered them real fruits (already washed) and together we studied the size, shape, taste, smell, whether they are hard or soft, which one rolls faster, etc. The evaluation of the activity was carried out with the cube method adapted to their level.
