The way to learn ABC with the smallest ones without using books
A nice activity to learn ABC with small ones.
I prepared a board with capital letters and cups with the lower case letters.
My five year old students really enjoyed this activity. You can also make simple words out of the letters, for example, simple sight words.
At this age children love playing activities instead of working with books.
We also prepare ABC books with kids with letters craft on each page. Students also love these kind of activities. There are a lot of ready samples in the internet that you can find, but you can also create something by yourself. As a PYP teacher, I always offer different materials for kids to choose.
