Two Fall Leaves-Themed Crafts for Children
At Prosperity Day School they did two fun crafts themed for the leaves of Fall. The children loved doing these activities that allowed them to put a personal touch on both projects!
Leaf portrait
For this craft, children took a picture of themselves they brought to school and cut it out so it had just their face. Then, they pasted this picture upon a construction paper leaf and added marker, crepe paper, and anything else they wanted to create a beautiful leaf portrait!
Handprint tree leaves
This project involved the children covering their hands in paint and then pressing these paint-covered hands upon a piece of paper with a tree trunk so they could create the image of leaves all around the tree. Their handprints made perfect little leaves! Both crafts were so fun to do!
