A is for Apple September is Apple picking month
This month is September so we are working hard to learn the Letter Aa and the sound the letter A makes. We have done several different activities this month but this is one of my favorite this year .I think it came out adorable and what parent doesn’t love seeing their child’s handprint made into art. Today after I read the book Apple Picking ,and singing The Apple Tree song
We made our own Apple trees using their arm and hand print. As the trunk and limbs. I used brown construction paper.then I cut the top of the tree out of green construction paper. The children then glued them together and I provided them with Apple sticker. You could also use mini pompoms as apples if you choose too. My children loved using the stickers. They enjoyed making it and especially seeing their final
Creation out of the hand and arm .
