Apples Up On Top - A Unique Paper Bag Apple
I was teaching about book themes and age appropriate activities to child care teachers.
I gave them an apple tree coloring picture to color while they listened, and there were some paper bags, markers and crayons on the table.
By the end of the class, this teacher had created a unique masterpiece.
This would be a great activity to do for an apple unit, Apples Up On Top, anything to do with Harvest and Apples in September.
It caould be as simple as red circles painted on brown lunch bags or letting children experience the different colors of apples: red/yellow/green.
It could be a drawing art project if you wanted to give the childrern to draw their own apple tree.
It could be a counting project. How many apples can you draw and count?
Can you draw 3 apples? 5 apples? 10 apples? 20 apples? Can you draw 5 red apples. 5 yellow apples and 5 gree apples? What could you do to make this more than a coloring or art project?
