Bath Pouf Apple Tree Painting Craft for Preschoolers
This painting craft involves taking a bath pouf like you would use in the tub and utilizing it in a brand-new and clever way!
This painting craft encourages creativity via its unique brush and helps inspire a passion for art thanks to being fun and not too difficult for little ones! At Learning Ship Christian Preschool they had a great time doing this painting craft and here is how you can do it too explained below!
Needed Materials
- Pouf bath sponge
- Green paint
- White paper
- Brown construction paper (this will be used to make the trunk)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Little scraps of red, green, and yellow paper already cut into small circles (these will be apples on the tree)
How to Do the Craft
First have students cut a big strip of paper out of the brown construction paper.
Instruct your students to glue the brown paper onto the white paper so that it looks like a tree trunk.
Next, have students dip their pouf bath sponge into their green paint and then dab it onto their paper to make the leaves! They can dab it a lot for a thick tree-top or just a little for a less-full tree.
Once students are done dabbing and the paint has dried assist them in gluing the little, "Apples," onto their tree by taking the small pieces of paper and putting them at the top of the tree.
The apple tree is done!
