I found this headband on Pinterest last week while the kids were learning about Eric Carle! Its the very hungry caterpillar. My kids loved it! I gave the children some crayons and markers and told them to get creative and color the headband full of the food the caterpillar eats. They were all very excited to color and wear their headbands all day long. we first read the book then we worked on a memory game with what the caterpillar ate first. After the game it was time for art and I had the children sit at the table and pick the colors they wanted to use for the food and for the caterpillar. They all wore their hats all day and were excited to go home and show their parents.
